Job Description

Industry: Healthcare/Manufacturing
Location: GRA Ikeja, Lagos (must reside within Oshodi, Ogba, Ikeja and Maryland axis)

Qualification:
1st degree in Accounting or related courses

Responsibilities
• To ensure proper utilization of uploads / disbursements.
• Compares amounts disbursed for each expenditure items with amount approved.
• Review and validate Retirement Vouchers submitted by staff in respect of funds released for operational expenses
• Query any observed exceptions (where applicable).
• Prepares and submit report on expenditure variances vis-à-vis budget.
• Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and use of accepted accounting procedures to record transactions.
• Examine and evaluate financial and information systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity
• Supervise month-end stock count.
• Carry out periodic cash count with custodian of Petty Cash /Courier fund.
• Ensure compliance to company’s policies and procedures.
• Provide necessary support in preparation and during year-end statutory audit.
• Provide necessary support in preparation and during Tax audits by regulatory authorities.
• Any other task as assigned by the Line Manager
Note: Candidate would be required to travel from time to time.
