Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for experienced Agro-Produce Quality Officers for our client an Agro-Commodities Company. The ideal candidate will be charged with the responsibility of:
JOB DESCRIPTION
o Daily testing of the quality of Agro-Produce from Farm gates
o Check quality standard on arrival for processing and shipments
o Visual inspection and ability to detect alterations such as; clusters, foreign odor, color etc.
o Conduct conclusive analysis on the quality of production
o Ensure timely, consistent and informative reporting
o Develop effective methods to monitor and control wastages
o Ensure the agro-products are in quality conditions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• DIPLOMA/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Crop Production or in related field
• Entry level 0-2 years proven working experience in Agro-Produce Quality
• Ability to work independently and deliver accurate results
• Analytical, problem solving and decision-making and multi-tasking skills
• Good written and communication skills
• Flexible attitude to working hours
• Ability to work with all levels of team
• Willingness to travel domestically (up to 60%)
Suitable candidates must be based within Ogbomosho/surrounding environment or must be willing to relocate immediately.
SALARY: 50,000 - 60,000
