Job Description

Job Overview:
Prime Hospitality is seeking a highly skilled and creative Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record in managing kitchen operations.

Responsibilities:
1. Menu Planning and Development:
- Develop innovative and enticing menus that align with Grand Amari Hotel's culinary vision.
- Regularly update menus to reflect seasonal ingredients and trends while ensuring cost-effective practices.

2. Kitchen Management:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.

3. Team Leadership:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor the kitchen team to ensure optimal performance.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting continuous learning and development.

4. Inventory Management:
- Manage inventory levels, ordering, and stock rotation to minimize waste and optimize cost efficiency.
- Conduct regular inventory assessments and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.

5. Quality Control:
- Implement and uphold quality control standards to meet or exceed guest expectations.
- Conduct regular tastings and inspections to ensure consistency in flavors and presentation.

6. Budget Management:
- Work closely with management to develop and adhere to budgetary guidelines for the kitchen.
- Monitor and control food costs, striving to achieve financial targets.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role.
- Culinary degree or equivalent qualification.
- Extensive knowledge of culinary trends, techniques, and ingredients.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Salary:
170.000,00 NGN Monthly
