Job Description

Job Summary:
• As a Hotel Operations Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate various operational aspects within the hotel environment to ensure seamless guest experiences. Your role involves supervising staff, managing daily operations, and maintaining high standards of service quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
Staff Supervision:
• Lead, train, and supervise hotel staff including front desk agents, housekeeping, maintenance, and other operational teams.
Daily Operations Management:
• Ensure smooth daily operations by coordinating with different departments, handling guest inquiries and requests, and resolving issues promptly.
Guest Satisfaction:
• Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction by monitoring service quality, addressing guest feedback, and implementing improvements where necessary.
Quality Control:
• Enforce quality standards and procedures across all hotel departments, including cleanliness, safety, and service delivery.
Inventory Management:
• Oversee inventory levels for supplies, equipment, and amenities, and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure adequate stock levels.
Budget Management:
• Assist in managing departmental budgets, controlling costs, and identifying opportunities for cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
Training and Development:
• Conduct training sessions for staff to enhance their skills, knowledge, and customer service abilities.
Health and Safety Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Event Coordination:
• Assist in coordinating events and functions hosted at the hotel, ensuring all arrangements meet guest expectations and event requirements.
Communication:
• Maintain open communication channels with staff, management, and other departments to facilitate efficient operations and teamwork.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in hotel operations, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in additional languages being an asset.
• Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
