Job Description

Company Overview: Our client stands as a prominent leader in providing hotel and catering services to meet the needs of local and international business and leisure travelers entering the city of Lagos.

Job Objective: The role requires understudying the Managing Director in mapping out the growth trajectory, goals, and expectations of the company. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the organization and provide visionary leadership in coordinating the other departmental functions to achieve the goals of the organization.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
 Strategic leadership on select corporate development projects, including Merger & Acquisition, partnerships, and investments.
 Lead successful vendor partnership strategies and launches, and sustaining positive relationships, working closely with external and internal teams.
 Shape, discuss, and establish agreements/partnerships demonstrating fluency in legal and business issues in contracts and developing creative win-win solutions with our partners.
 Generate holistic compelling business cases, think strategically and act on ideas, and effectively pitch these ideas to the leadership team.
 Identify and execute new opportunities from beginning to end.
 Meet and Exceed Revenue targets and related KPIs on a quarterly, and annual basis.
 Define and execute sales to achieve or exceed revenue targets. Ensure optimal coverage of all territories at all times.
 Coaching approach on customer engagement skills such as negotiation, objection-handling and closing.
 Co-sell with sales executives on strategic accounts to maximize deal closure.
 Efficiently and effectively handle a high volume of sales calls in a metrics-driven sales center.
 Execute weekly forecast and pipeline review governance model.
 Work closely with cross functional partners to optimize go-to-market and exceed sales plans.

Job Requirements
 Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree is an added advantage.
 7 years+ experience in a sale’s managerial role in a B2B service environment with proven success in consistently achieving acquisition revenue in hospitality.
 Proven experience in the industry knowledge is required.
