Job Description

Overview:
• As a Hotel Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning across all departments. Your primary goal is to enhance guest satisfaction and optimize operational processes to maximize revenue and profitability.

Responsibilities:
• Leadership and Team Management:
• Provide leadership and direction to department heads and staff.
• Foster a positive work environment conducive to teamwork and productivity.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to ensure high standards of service.
Guest Experience Management:
• Maintain high standards of guest service by addressing guest concerns and resolving issues promptly.
• Implement guest feedback mechanisms to continuously improve guest satisfaction.
• Ensure all guest-facing areas are well-maintained and adhere to brand standards.
Operational Efficiency:
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction, and take corrective action as needed.
• Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage budgets, controlling costs while maintaining quality standards.
Quality Assurance:
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
• Implement quality assurance programs to uphold brand standards and regulatory requirements.
Sales and Revenue Management:
• Work closely with the sales and marketing team to develop strategies to increase revenue and occupancy.
• Monitor market trends and competition to identify opportunities for revenue growth.
• Optimize room rates and inventory management strategies to maximize revenue.
Health and Safety Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations and standards.
• Implement and oversee emergency response procedures and crisis management protocols.
• Conduct regular training sessions for staff on health and safety protocols.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in hotel management or operations management, with a track record of success in achieving operational and financial goals.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
