Responsibilities: -
 
Market Research:
- Conduct thorough market research to unearth potential suppliers, identify trends, and explore new product opportunities.
- Analyze market data to provide informed recommendations on product selection and optimal sourcing strategies.
 
Supplier Identification and Evaluation:
- Collaborate in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, considering factors such as product quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
- Contribute to building and maintaining a comprehensive database of qualified suppliers.
 
Communication and Coordination:
- Establish clear and open communication channels within the team using messaging platforms, project management tools, and regular team meetings.
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams, particularly procurement, to ensure efficient and timely product sourcing processes.
 
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain meticulous records of product features, specifications, and pricing details.
- Generate insightful reports summarizing key sourcing metrics and performance indicators.
 
Quality Control:
- Play an active role in the quality control process by verifying product samples and specifications against established standards.
- Implement effective quality controls to ensure acquired products meet specified standards and requirements.
