Job Description

Job Title: Digital Technology Strategist focused on performance management and capability building

Job Purpose / Objective
Responsible for the company digital strategy and roadmap evolution process. Manages the company’s enterprise digital strategy and digital transformation roadmap, aligning company technology initiatives, technology deployment, ways off working, business model and customer engagement to ensure business competitiveness and profitability.

Basic functions & Principal Responsibilities:

• Develop and update methodology for the development of and delivery of the corporate digital strategy and a digital transformation roadmap for the company.
• Drive the strategy development and update process to develop the digital transformation roadmap of the enterprise in line with the company's aspirations.
• Constantly recalibrate the corporate digital strategy based on learnings from in-market data and qualitative user interviews.
• Own Company’s strategy development from beginning to end, perform in-depth research for (e.g. competitive analysis, industry best practices), develop analyses (e.g. projections, sizing) and engage the appropriate stakeholders.
• Nurture collaborative stakeholder relations at every level of the organization to influence and drive our digital transformation strategies, and importantly, guide people to make changes that will have a direct impact on our commercial success.
• Support the investment prioritization process, analyzing project funding requests and making recommendations to the leadership team to optimize our impact with our division budget.
• Driving performance of the companies digital transformation strategy and roadmap delivery, ensuring alignment with corporate ambition and goals.
• Develop and maintain a governance framework to ensure that digital transformation initiatives are aligned with business objectives and are delivered efficiently.
• Establish policies and procedures to guide digital transformation efforts and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Implement metrics and KPIs to monitor the progress and success of digital transformation initiatives.
• Identify potential risks and issues related to digital transformation initiatives and develop mitigation strategies.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends

Job requirements

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.

Experience
• 7-10 years of experience in digital transformation, IT governance, or a related field. Experience in a leadership role overseeing digital initiatives is highly desirable.

Technical/Business Skills:
• Strong understanding of digital tools, technologies, and trends.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

Interpersonal Skills:
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to various stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing digital landscape and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
