Job Description

Nsik Group of Companies, a leading conglomerate with diverse interests under its umbrella, is seeking highly qualified candidate for the position of Head of Audit:

Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the accounting operations across all companies within the Nsik Group.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Implement and maintain effective financial controls and systems.
• Manage the accounting team and ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations and remittance of taxes.
• Report directly to the Chairman and execute other duties as assigned.
• Conduct comprehensive audits across all companies within the Nsik Group.
• Develop and implement audit plans and methodologies to assess compliance and risk.
• Provide recommendations for improvements in internal controls and operational efficiency.
• Supervise and manage audit teams and ensure adherence to auditing standards.
• Report findings and provide insights directly to the Chairman and take other instructions as required.

Requirements:
• ACA (Chartered Accountant) qualification.
• Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in notable companies.
• Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Extensive experience in auditing practices, risk assessment, and internal controls.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience in managing audit teams.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
