Job Description (Summary)
As a Business Development Manager, you will lead the solution stream cycle from opportunity creation to converting outcomes. You will be responsible for prospecting new accounts, ensuring sales targets are met, and bringing innovative insights to meet clients' needs. Additionally, you will lead cross-functional teams and ensure all sales activities align with organizational guidelines.
Sales Target Achievement:
Meet individual and team customer acquisition and sales targets as set by the organization.
Pipeline Conversion:
Drive the conversion of pipeline opportunities through innovative engagement strategies and strong sales proposal pitches.
Sales Budget Implementation:
Implement the validated sales budget for the sales solution stream (e.g., Connectivity, IP Data Products, Bespoke Solutions, or Managed Services) to ensure targets are met within stipulated timelines and other resources.
Field Supervision:
Lead field trips to supervise, organize, and coordinate all field activities, ensuring successful sales and business campaigns.
Partner Collaboration:
Work closely with key channel partners in the distribution and sale of the organization’s service offerings.
Marketing Collaboration:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop the annual marketing plan, advising on realistic forecasts for each product and territory, and planning sales promotion programs.
Lead Generation:
Map potential customers and generate leads for the organization by identifying key partners in the supply and demand segments of existing and new markets, driven by a well-defined go-to-market strategy.
Customer Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members to ensure customer requirements are adequately conceptualized and delivered to the appropriate technical/technology teams.
Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare clear and concise reports detailing performance metrics, strategies, and action plans for senior management.
Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure understanding of initiatives and facilitate timely resolution of issues.
Compliance & Regulations:
Ensure strategies and operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory inquiries and audits as necessary.
Policy Implementation:
Implement policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications & Experience
A good university degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in target-driven sales and marketing functions.
Strong sales and marketing skills.
Experience in developing Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies leveraging knowledge of market segmentation and relevant business intelligence.
Capacity to sell ISP and digital market products and solutions
