Job Summary: The Information Systems Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s IT systems, including hardware, software, networks, and security measures. This role involves leading a team of IT professionals, ensuring system reliability, and implementing innovative solutions that support the company’s media production, distribution, and content management activities.

Key Responsibilities:
1.Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases.
2.Ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT systems that support content production, distribution, and digital media platforms.
3.Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
4.Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, and support staff.
5.Provide guidance and support to the IT team, ensuring they are equipped to manage day-to-day operations and special projects.
6.Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and professional development within the IT team.
7.Collaborate with content production, digital distribution, and other departments to integrate IT solutions that enhance workflow efficiency.
8.Ensure that IT systems are scalable and adaptable to the evolving needs of the media industry.
9.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to data protection, privacy, and IT security.
10.Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
11.Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services.
12.Oversee the procurement of hardware, software, and IT services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with business needs.
13.Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms for the company.
14.Lead IT projects from planning to execution, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
15.Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new systems and technologies that support the company’s media operations.
16.Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
17.Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in information technology and media.
18.Propose and implement improvements to existing IT systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
19.Ensure that the company’s IT infrastructure aligns with its long-term strategic goals.

Skills and Requirements:
i. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure management, including servers, networks, databases, and cloud computing.
ii. Experience with digital asset management (DAM) systems, content management systems (CMS), and other media-related applications.
iii. Proven experience in leading and managing IT teams, with a focus on team development and performance management.
iv. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
v. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
vi. Experience in managing IT projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
vii. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
viii. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
ix. Understanding of the media industry and the role of IT in supporting content production, distribution, and digital platforms.
x. Experience in integrating IT systems with media production workflows and content management processes.

Qualifications:
i. bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
ii. Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT management, preferably within the media industry.
iii. Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or similar are a plus.
iv. Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing IT infrastructure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
