Exciting Career Opportunity
Position: Technical Product Manager
Industry: HR Tech
Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Key Responsibilities:
Product Development
Lead the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to develop product roadmaps and timelines.
Lead the process of eliciting and documenting product requirements by collaborating closely with stakeholders, including engineering, design, and business teams.
Develop detailed and clear PRDs that outline product features, functionalities, and specifications. Ensure alignment with the overall product strategy and business goals.

Market Research & Strategy
Conduct market research to identify customer needs and HR industry trends.
Develop and implement product strategies that align with market demands and company objectives.
Conduct in-depth market and competitor research to identify product improvement and innovation opportunities.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.

Technical Expertise
Serve as the bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and project alignment.
Evaluate and prioritize product features based on technical feasibility, market impact, and business value.
Develop comprehensive API documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility for internal development teams and external partners. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure API functionality meets user needs.

Data-Driven Decision Making
Analyze product performance data to make informed decisions and optimize the product strategy.
Monitor key product metrics and adjust strategies to meet business objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to drive the successful development and launch of products.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the HR Tech industry.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies.
• Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in product management tools and software.
• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
