Fleet Manager

To be the Authority’s nominated Transport Manager on its Operator’s License.
Ensuring that all transport and vehicle use legislation is complied with.
Monitoring, administrating and undertaking compliance audits, random and planned, in accordance with the policies, objectives
and guidelines determined by the Service and Corporate Managers in respect of the Authority’s ‘Operator License’.
Ensuring the efficient running of the Fleet Service including its vehicle maintenance operations.
Ensuring that the Fleet Service provides services that meet the needs of the service users.
Embracing a culture of change by being open, flexible and adaptable in responding to a continually changing environment.
Representing the Authority at meetings, both internal, external and with outside bodies and partnerships in connection with
professional matters relating to Fleet matters.
Participating in the delivery of projects.
