Job Description
As the Customer Acquisition Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to attract and retain clients, identifying new market opportunities, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our value proposition reaches the right audience. Your leadership in these efforts will be key to accelerating the growth of Junkyard’s customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement acquisition strategies: Design and execute comprehensive customer acquisition plans tailored to Junkyard’s target audience, utilizing both online and offline channels.
• Lead Campaigns: Manage end-to-end marketing and promotional campaigns that effectively drive lead generation and conversion, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Market Research: Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to refine acquisition strategies and identify new opportunities for growth.
• Partnership Development: Forge and maintain strategic partnerships with businesses, residential communities, and corporate clients to drive acquisition and foster long-term relationships.
• Performance Analysis: Track, analyze, and report on the performance of acquisition efforts through KPIs, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the operations, and product teams to ensure the seamless implementation of customer acquisition initiatives.
• Customer Insights: Gather feedback from potential and existing customers to improve service offerings, identify barriers to acquisition, and enhance customer experience.
Requirements:
Experience: 2-3 years of experience in customer acquisition, sales, marketing, or a related field, preferably in the waste management, environmental services, or logistics sectors.
• Proven Expertise: Demonstrated track record of successfully leading customer acquisition campaigns, increasing client base, and meeting growth targets.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze performance metrics, market trends, and customer data to guide decision-making and optimize acquisition efforts.
• Communication & Negotiation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and nurture relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple acquisition campaigns and projects simultaneously.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in digital marketing tools, CRM software, and social media platforms to drive acquisition strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in waste management or environmental services is a plus.
• Familiarity with the Lagos Recycling space: collectors, aggregators and recycling companies.
• Innovative and adaptable, with a passion for sustainability and green initiatives.
