Electronic-Electrical Engineer

We are Nigeria’s leading manufacturing and exporter of quality crumb rubber to the Global Rubber Industry. We are committed to delivering high-quality crumb rubber. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Electronic-Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and improving electrical and electronic systems and machinery used in rubber manufacturing processes. This role requires a hands-on, results-oriented individual with a solid technical background in industrial electronics, automation, and electrical engineering, particularly within the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, electronic control systems, and automated machinery used in rubber manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and electronic malfunctions and ensure timely repairs.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules for electrical systems and equipment.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimize equipment performance, efficiency, and safety.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies, systems, and improvements in manufacturing processes.
• Provide technical support and training to production staff on the operation and maintenance of electrical systems.

Key Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in an electrical/electronic engineering role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the rubber or polymer industry.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, automation, and control systems.
• Proficient in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on safety and operational efficiency.
• Knowledge of Nigerian electrical standards and regulations is a plus.
