Technical Production Supervisor( Steel/ Heavy Product)

Key Responsibilities
1. Production Management:
* Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets and quality standards.
* Ensure the smooth functioning of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.
* Monitor and optimize production processes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality improvement.
* Collaborate with the maintenance and Quality control teams to address any production issues promptly.
2) Leadership and Team Management
* Lead and mentor a team of production staff to ensure high levels of performance and engagement.
* Implement training and development programs to enhance the technical and operational skills of team members.
* Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
* Ensure smooth communication between team members and other departments
3) Compliance and Reporting
* Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
* Maintain accurate production records and prepare regular reports for senior management.
* Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

4) Strategic Planning and Execution
* Assist the Production Manager in developing and implementing production strategies aligned with business objectives.
* Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Recommend and implement innovative solutions to enhance production efficiency.

* Achievement of production targets within specified timelines and budgets.
* Consistent product quality in compliance with industry standards.
* Effective leadership, resulting in high team morale and low attrition rates.
* Reduction in machine downtime and operational costs.
* Adherence to safety protocols and zero-incident operations.

Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Background:
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Professional Experience:
* Minimum of 8 years of experience in production management, preferably in the steel or heavy manufacturing industry.
Technical Skills:
* In-depth knowledge of drum manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
* Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software.
* Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles (certification preferred).
