Engineering/Maintenance Engineer

Requirements:
HND/BSC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in canned milk processing and three-piece can manufacturing.
Proven management or supervisory experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement project plans, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Track project milestones and deliverables, making necessary adjustments to meet objectives.
Oversee engineering teams, guiding to ensure high-quality outputs.
Identify training needs, mentor team members, and facilitate professional growth.
Make informed decisions on technology and methodologies to align with organizational goals.
Review engineering outputs for technical accuracy and compliance with standards.
Ensure alignment of engineering efforts with business objectives by maintaining effective communication with other departments.
Implement maintenance schedules to maintain plant reliability, minimize downtime, and improve operational efficiency.
Allocate maintenance tasks to specialists and ensure proper feedback.
Ensure adequate stocking of spare parts, balancing the need for operational reliability while minimizing stock levels.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Professional Maintenance) and Zero Loss activities.
Drive reduction of energy and maintenance costs within production lines.
Maintain effective relationships with suppliers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
Develop weekly maintenance and inspection schedules with OEMs, along with an Annual Planned Maintenance (APM) program.
Ensure all employees adhere to safety, environmental, and quality procedures as part of the integrated management system.
