We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our logistics and supply chain team as a Motor Boy.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for assisting in the transportation of goods, ensuring timely and safe delivery to various locations. The Motor Boy plays an essential part in maintaining the efficiency of our operations, as you will be the face of our company on the road. Your ability to communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers will be vital to ensuring smooth delivery operations. As we continue to grow and meet the demands of our clients, we are looking for someone who is physically fit, has excellent time management skills, and can adapt to changing schedules and routes.
Responsibilities
Transport goods and materials to various locations in a timely manner.
Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure its safety and functionality.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and submit them to the appropriate department.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules and updates.
Adhere to all traffic regulations and safety standards during operations.
Assist in loading and unloading goods at delivery sites where necessary.
Provide excellent customer service by handling inquiries or resolving issues during deliveries.
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE
Proven experience as a motor boy or similar role in logistics.
Strong physical fitness to handle transportation and manual tasks.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
Good communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
