Shop Floor Supervisor

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Shop Floor Supervisor to oversee daily operations on the shop floor of our supermarket. This role is crucial for ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining store standards, and leading a team of associates.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate shop floor staff to deliver outstanding customer service. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training as needed.
Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring that the store is well-stocked, clean, and visually appealing. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for restocking.
Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally. Ensure that all staff adhere to customer service standards.
Sales and Promotions: Implement sales strategies and promotional activities. Monitor sales performance and suggest improvements to drive sales.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Conduct regular audits to maintain store standards.
Reporting: Prepare reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance for management review. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a retail or supermarket environment.
