Job Description
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
Accounting First Degree, BSc or equivalent from a reputable institution – Candidates with demonstrable proficiency and experience in similar role will be considered.
Post Graduate Professional qualification – ACA, ACCA is an Advantage
Must have an ICAN certification
Developing and documenting accounting policies and business processes
Supporting the month-end and year-end close process
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
Knowledge of local, state, and federal financial regulations
Advanced Knowledge of computer skills with proficiency with Quickbooks, SOS inventory and all MS packages: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project Manager & Access.
Desirable
Financial reporting: Create and review financial reports, such as balance sheets, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
Financial planning: Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models
Financial analysis: Monitor and analyse financial data to identify trends and patterns
Financial transactions: Monitor and record daily transactions, and manage accounts payable and receivable
Financial compliance: Ensure compliance with regulations, such as SOX
Financial risk management: Identify and mitigate financial risks
Financial policies: Organize financial policies
