Job Description

Reports To: Regional Manager / Sales Manager
Department: Sales
Job Summary:
The City Head / Market Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all sales and market activities within the assigned areas. This role involves managing a team of sales professionals; marketing, developing and executing strategies to drive sales awareness, and ensuring the achievement of company’s targets. E.g Facilitating the sales of high - quality spices and other FMCG products.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate a team of Sales Representatives to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to enhance team productivity and development.
Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the market, aligning with corporate objectives.
Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's market share within the city/market.
Set and monitor sales targets and KPIs for the team, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
Track sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
Conduct regular market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
Analyze customer feedback and make recommendations for product and service improvements.
Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the sales process.
Monitor and optimize resource allocation within the team to improve efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and team performance.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
At least 3-5 years of experience in sales, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role in Sales
Experience in the FMCG sector.
