Chief Economist

1. Develop and implement economic research agendas to inform organizational strategy and decision-making.
2. Analyze economic data and trends to identify opportunities and risks for the organization.
3. Provide strategic economic guidance and advice to senior leaders and stakeholders.
4. Communicate complex economic concepts and research findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate economic analysis into organizational decision-making.
6. Represent the organization in external forums, including conferences, seminars, and media interviews.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including policymakers, industry leaders, and academia.
8. Manage and mentor a team of economists and research analysts.
9. Stay up-to-date with emerging economic trends and research methodologies.

Qualifications and requirements:
1. Advanced degree in Economics (Ph.D. or Master's) or a related field.
2. At least 10 - 15 years of experience in economic research and analysis, with a strong track record of publications and presentations.
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex economic concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
4. Strong leadership and management skills, with experience managing teams and mentoring junior staff.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and represent the organization externally.
6. Strong knowledge of economic research methodologies and data analysis techniques.
7. Familiarity with economic modeling and forecasting techniques.
