Job Description
A Christian Ministry in Lagos is looking to hire a Communications Manager. The Communications Manager will be responsible for overseeing content creation, social media management, and brand consistency across all communication channels. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of faith-based communications, digital marketing, and media relations.
Key Requirements:
1. A minimum of years of experience in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing, preferably within a faith-based, nonprofit, or media organization.
2. Strong understanding of church branding, Christian content creation, and digital evangelism.
3. Experience with social media management, website administration, email marketing, and media relations.
4. Bachelor’s degree in any field. A Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus. Certifications in Digital Marketing, Social Media Strategy, Public Relations, or Church Communications will be beneficial.

1. Strategic Communication & Storytelling – Ability to craft compelling narratives that reflect the church’s mission.
2. Social Media Management – Expertise in content creation, engagement, SEO and analytics.
3. Event Marketing – Experience in promoting and managing church events and outreach.
4. Leadership & Teamwork – Ability to coordinate and inspire the team of volunteers and staff.
5. Faith Alignment – A strong personal faith and commitment to the GIC’s vision.
