# Financial Reporting and Compliance
1. _Preparation of Financial Statements_: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
2. _CBN and NDIC Reporting_: Ensure timely submission of regulatory reports to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC).
3. _Compliance with IFRS and Financial Regulations_: Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and financial regulations applicable to microfinance banks.

# Financial Analysis and Planning
1. _Financial Analysis and Review_: Perform financial analysis and review of the bank's financial performance, including ratio analysis, trend analysis, and variance analysis.
2. _Budgeting and Forecasting_: Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, and monitor actual performance against these.
3. _Financial Modeling_: Develop financial models to support business decisions and strategic planning.

# Accounting Operations
1. _Accounting Policy Development_: Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures relevant to microfinance banking.
2. _Accounting System Maintenance_: Maintain and improve accounting systems, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
3. _Internal Controls_: Ensure that internal controls are in place and operating effectively to mitigate risks.

# Risk Management and Internal Control
1. _Risk Identification and Mitigation_: Identify and mitigate financial risks, including credit risk, liquidity risk, and operational risk.
2. _Internal Audit and Compliance_: Coordinate with internal auditors and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.

# Leadership and Management
1. _Team Supervision_: Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff to ensure effective accounting operations.
2. _Project Management_: Manage special projects, such as financial system implementations or accounting standard conversions.
3. _Stakeholder Communication_: Communicate financial information and results to stakeholders, including management, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
