Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to transport goods safely and efficiently across various locations in Nigeria. The ideal candidate must have a valid driver's license, a strong understanding of road safety regulations, and the ability to handle long-distance trips while ensuring timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:
*Operate and drive trucks to transport goods to assigned destinations.
*Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper handling and secure placement.
*Inspect and maintain the truck, including checking oil, fuel, brakes, and tires before and after trips.
*Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
*Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
*Keep accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, and deliveries.
*Report any mechanical issues or incidents to the manager promptly.
*Maintain professionalism and good communication with clients and dispatch officers.
*Ensure all necessary delivery documentation is properly completed and submitted.

Qualifications and Skills:
*Minimum of a Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent.
*Valid Nigerian truck driver’s license (Class E or G preferred).
*Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a truck driver, preferably in logistics or distribution.
*Strong knowledge of Nigerian road networks, traffic regulations, and highway safety.
*Ability to handle long-distance driving and extended hours on the road.
*Good communication and record-keeping skills.
