Publishing Manager

Key Requirements:
HND/B.Sc. degree in a relevant field.
Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in publishing or a related industry.
Experience in a business-related field.
Ability to set and prioritize goals effectively.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and team management skills
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee book production, ensuring high-quality output.
Lead a team and manage multiple projects, prioritizing deadlines.
Work with authors and writers to refine content, ensuring consistency in style and accuracy.
Oversee editing, layout, and design of publications.
Review and approve print materials, ensuring they meet publishing standards.
Ensure books for reprints undergo thorough proofreading to eliminate errors.
Identify and implement strategies to improve publishing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Stay updated with industry trends and integrate new publishing technologies where applicable.
Develop and manage relationships with authors, printers, and distribution partners.
Ensure copyright and intellectual property rights are properly managed.
Monitor sales and market trends to determine potential new publishing opportunities.
Coordinate marketing efforts for new book releases in collaboration with the sales and marketing team.
Establish quality control measures to maintain the company's publishing standards.
