Job Description
We are hiring experienced Senior Engineers/Technical Troubleshooters to join our automobile workshop team. The ideal candidates must have 7–10 years of hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining modern petrol and diesel vehicles, including SUVs and trucks. This role requires expertise in troubleshooting complex engine and gearbox faults, using advanced diagnostic tools, and executing high-quality repairs with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot engine and gearbox issues in petrol and diesel vehicles.
Use ECU scanners and diagnostic software to identify and resolve vehicle error codes.
Independently repair and maintain automatic and pneumatic gearboxes for cars, SUVs, and trucks.
Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to enhance vehicle performance and longevity.
Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and best practices in vehicle repairs.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation of all repairs and diagnostics.
Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies, diagnostic methods, and repair techniques.
Qualifications & Requirements:
HND/Bachelor’s degree in Automobile, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
7–10 years of verifiable experience in an automotive company.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical faults.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Extensive knowledge of modern petrol and diesel engines, especially Euro 4/Euro 5 standards.
Proficiency in using vehicle ECU scanners and diagnostic software to detect and rectify faults.
Experience handling diesel truck gearboxes is an added advantage.
Strong commitment to workplace safety, efficiency, and quality service delivery.
Salary: ₦150,000–₦250,000 monthly.
