Job Summary:
We are looking for an Academic Counsellor with at least 2 years of experience to guide prospective and current students in selecting suitable IT training programs based on their career aspirations. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in student recruitment, engagement, and retention by providing academic guidance and ensuring a seamless enrolment process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Counsel prospective students on course offerings, career prospects, and enrolment requirements.
• Assist students in choosing the right IT training programs based on their goals and skill levels.
• Follow up on leads generated through digital marketing campaigns and convert them into enrolments.
• Provide detailed information about course structures, fees, certification, and career opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of student inquiries, enrolments, and feedback.
• Support students throughout their academic journey, addressing concerns and providing career guidance.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment between promotional strategies and academic offerings.
• Organize information sessions, webinars, and open days to engage potential students.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging skills in IT to provide relevant counselling.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counselling, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in academic advising, career counselling, or student enrolment (preferably in IT education).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasion skills.
• Ability to build rapport with students and address their concerns effectively.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Familiarity with IT training programs, certifications, and career paths is an added advantage.
• Ability to work in a target-driven environment and contribute to enrolment growth.
• Applicant must be at least 30 years old.
