Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join our team at our supermarket in Lekki, Lagos. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Lagos market, excellent supplier management skills, and the ability to source high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
Source high-quality products at competitive prices
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
Identify fast-moving goods and adjust procurement strategies accordingly
Familiarize yourself with company policies on stock levels and ensure compliance
Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers
Ensure timely delivery of products
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Procurement Officer, preferably in a supermarket or retail environment
Strong knowledge of the Lagos market and current trends
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
