Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial accounting and reporting services to the group, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and group policies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Accounting and Reporting:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local accounting standards.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
2. Group Consolidation:
- Prepare and review group consolidation reports, including consolidated financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure accurate and timely elimination of inter-company transactions.
3. Subsidiary Accounting:
- Provide accounting support to subsidiaries, including preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
4. Financial Planning and Budgeting:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business planning and decision-making.
5. Internal Controls and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with group policies and procedures.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial information.
6. Audit and Assurance:
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation.
- Respond to audit queries and provide information as required.
7. Ad-hoc Tasks:
- Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by the Group Financial Controller.
