Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring high-quality food and beverage offerings, and driving business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, leading and developing staff, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Restaurant Operations:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient service, quality food, and excellent customer service.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen staff.
2. Leadership and Staff Development:
- Lead, motivate, and develop restaurant staff to achieve high levels of performance, customer satisfaction, and staff retention.
- Provide coaching, training, and feedback to staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
3. Customer Service:
- Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, quality food, and a positive dining experience.
- Handle customer complaints and feedback, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
4. Menu Planning and Cost Control:
- Assist in menu planning, inventory management, and cost control to ensure profitability and quality.
- Analyze sales data and menu trends to inform menu planning and pricing decisions.
5. Quality and Safety Standards:
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and hygiene in the restaurant, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
6. Marketing and Promotion:
- Assist in promoting the restaurant through social media, events, and local marketing initiatives.
- Develop and implement marketing plans to drive sales growth and increase customer loyalty.
7. Financial Management:
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial management to ensure the restaurant's financial performance.
- Analyze sales data and financial reports to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

1. Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management or a related field.
2. Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, menu planning, and cost control.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, inventory management software, and financial management tools.
3. Certifications and Licenses:
- Food safety certification (e.g., HACCP, ServSafe).
- Liquor license or certification (if applicable).
