Job Description
Inspection and Diagnosis: Identify and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems in heavy equipment.
Repair and Maintenance: Repair or replace defective components, perform routine maintenance (e.g., oil changes, tire rotations), and overhaul major systems.
Preventative Maintenance: Implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure equipment longevity.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
Technical Skills: Possess a strong understanding of heavy equipment mechanics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostic tools.
Safety: Adhere to strict safety protocols when working with heavy machinery and hazardous materials.
Communication: Communicate effectively with operators and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Problem-solving: Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and develop effective solutions.
Tools and Equipment: Utilize a wide variety of hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and specialized machinery.
Travel: May be required to travel to job sites to repair and maintain equipment.
