Job Summary:
Ninestars is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in conducting land surveys and providing precise measurements for construction, engineering, and environmental projects. As a Surveyor, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate data collection and analysis for a variety of projects. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Land Surveys:
Perform topographic, boundary, construction, and utility surveys to gather data and measurements.
Use specialized equipment, including GPS systems, total stations, and levels, to accurately measure and map land features.
Analyze and interpret survey data to provide detailed reports and maps.
Data Collection & Analysis:
Compile data from field surveys and prepare accurate survey drawings, maps, and documents.
Ensure all data collected is precise and compliant with legal and regulatory standards.
Collaboration:
Work closely with engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to provide survey data for project planning and execution.
Assist in preparing site plans, plats, and other documents required for permits and approvals.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure that all surveys comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant surveying laws, policies, and standards.
Reporting:
Prepare and present detailed survey reports, including measurements, calculations, and findings.
Provide technical support and recommendations based on survey results.
Field Work:
Travel to various job sites to conduct field surveys.
Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times while working in the field.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
years of experience in land surveying, construction surveying, or a related field.
Proficiency in using survey equipment such as total stations, GPS systems, and levels.
Strong understanding of survey software and CAD programs.
Knowledge of local and state surveying regulations and standards.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with AutoCAD or other CAD software.
Licensed Surveyor or working toward licensure.
Knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and related technologies.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in various outdoor environments, including rough terrain and weather conditions.
Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
