Job Description
We are seeking a professional and innovative Front Desk Officer to be the first point of contact at Tuteria (Our Island Office). The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, manage front desk operations, and respond to customers' enquiries to ensure smooth daily activities. This role is crucial in maintaining a welcoming and organized environment for students, parents, staff, and visitors. Proximity to the Island is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome students, parents, staff, and visitors with professionalism and warmth.
• Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and physical inquiries efficiently.
• Maintain accurate attendance and visitor records.
• Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and corporate events.
• Provide information about Tuteria services, programs, policies, and procedures.
• Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and deliveries.
• Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and documentation.
• Ensure the reception area remains tidy and presentable.
• Coordinate with various departments to facilitate smooth communication.
• Handle minor student or parent concerns and escalate them to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
Requirements & Qualifications:
• B.Sc/HND; additional administration or customer service certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience as a front desk officer, receptionist, or customer service representative, preferably in an educational or health care institution.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Zoho) and other administrative tools.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
