Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Montessori Early Years Educator to nurture and guide children aged 0-6 years in a child-centered learning environment. The ideal candidate will foster independence, creativity, and a love for learning using Montessori principles while ensuring the emotional, social, and cognitive development of each child.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate Learning
Implement Montessori methods to guide children through hands-on learning experiences.
Prepare and maintain an engaging, structured, and orderly space.
Observe each child’s development and tailor learning activities accordingly.
Support language, motor, and social skills development in a nurturing environment.
2. Room Management
Ensure a safe, calm, and child-led space that encourages independence.
Keep Montessori materials clean, organized, and accessible.
Encourage grace and courtesy lessons, fostering respectful interactions.
3. Child Development & Observation
Monitor and record children's progress through daily observations and assessments.
Communicate with parents through reports, meetings, and discussions.
Identify and support children with different learning needs.
4. Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with other teachers and support staff to maintain a harmonious learning environment.
Engage in regular parent-teacher communication to support each child's learning journey.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Montessori certification (AMI, AMS, or equivalent) or Early Childhood Education (ECE) qualification.
Experience working with children aged 0-6 years in a Montessori or early years setting.
Strong room management skills and a child-centered approach.
Passion for Montessori philosophy and early childhood development.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
