We are looking for an experienced Factory Manager to lead our operations and drive continuous improvement across our production processes.

Job Overview
The Factory Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our manufacturing operations. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage production efficiency, quality control, and safety standards while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, with specific experience in the rubber industry highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Management:

Oversee daily factory operations to ensure efficient production schedules and optimal resource utilization.

Monitor production metrics and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance performance and reduce downtime.

Quality & Process Control:

Ensure adherence to strict quality standards and implement quality control procedures in line with industry regulations.

Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to optimize manufacturing processes and introduce innovative solutions.

Team Leadership & Development:

Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of production supervisors, technicians, and laborers.

Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning among employees.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):

Maintain and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Manage compliance with environmental regulations and oversee waste management practices.

Budget & Cost Control:

Develop and manage the production budget, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.

Analyze operational costs and implement strategies for cost reduction and process optimization.

Maintenance & Equipment Management:

Oversee the maintenance of factory equipment and machinery, ensuring minimal disruptions to production.

Coordinate with the maintenance team for timely repairs and preventive maintenance programs.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement:

Prepare regular reports on production performance, quality metrics, and safety compliance.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead projects to implement best practices.

Qualifications
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.

A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma) is a plus.

Experience:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Experience in the rubber manufacturing industry or a closely related field is highly desirable.

Skills:

Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of implementing process improvements.

Proficient in using manufacturing management software and tools.

Solid understanding of quality assurance, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
