Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Job Purpose
To oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring that production runs efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively. The Factory Operations Manager ensures that quality standards are upheld while meeting production targets, managing factory staff, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise factory operations from raw materials to finished goods.
• Implement daily production schedules and optimize resource allocation.
• Collaborate with the Plant Operations Director to streamline workflows.
• Manage and mentor factory personnel including line supervisors and shift leads.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Address personnel issues and support performance development plans.
• Monitor production metrics (cycle times, scrap rates, downtime).
• Recommend and implement process improvements to boost efficiency.
• Ensure optimal utilization of machines, materials, and manpower.
• Enforce quality control procedures and maintain compliance with product standards.
• Assist in conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Champion a proactive safety culture with regular training and hazard assessments.
• Support inventory management and coordinate closely with procurement and store teams.
• Monitor raw material levels and communicate needs proactively.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Maintain accurate operational records and submit timely reports to senior management.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• Professional certifications in production/operations management are advantageous.
