Job Description

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing the movement, distribution, and storage of goods, managing logistics staff, and ensuring that all operations are conducted smoothly and in compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and leadership skills, with a deep understanding of supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:
-Plan, implement, and oversee logistics operations including inbound and outbound shipping, inventory control, warehousing, and transportation.
-Develop and optimize logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
-Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
-Monitor logistics KPIs and prepare performance reports for senior management.
-Ensure compliance with local, national, and international shipping, customs, and transportation regulations.
-Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and negotiate contracts as needed.
-Oversee and manage logistics team members, providing leadership, training, and development.
-Identify and resolve any supply chain bottlenecks or issues quickly and effectively.

Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management.
-Proven leadership and team management experience.
-In-depth knowledge of logistics and inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS).
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
-Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
