Job Description

Salary: 350,000 – 400,000 net (negotiable)
Key Criteria:
• Minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience in commodities trading, preferably in agricultural commodities.
• Proven track record of driving business growth and profitability in a commodities trading environment.
• Deep understanding of the global agricultural commodities market, including market trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, economics, or agriculture.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement the company's commodities trading strategy to achieve business objectives.
• Lead and manage a team of commodities traders, analysts, and support staff.
• Manage and mitigate market risks, including price, currency, and logistics risks.
• Develop and manage the company's commodities portfolio, including sourcing, aggregating, trading, and delivery of commodities.
• Collaborate with other departments, including finance, logistics, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of commodities trading activities.
• Provide market insights and intelligence to inform business decisions.
• Develop and manage the department's budget and ensure cost-effective operations.

Key Criteria:

• 5+ years of sales experience in the financial services sector.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed business decisions.
