Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Officer to join our team at Ninestars Limited.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of our real estate transactions, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing legal documentation, and supporting the firm’s operations from a legal perspective.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, lease documents, MoUs, and other legal instruments related to property transactions.
Ensure all real estate deals comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Conduct legal due diligence on property titles, ownership, encumbrances, and zoning.
Liaise with external legal counsel, government bodies, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders as needed.
Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of matters, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, joint ventures, and project development.
Monitor changes in relevant legislation and regulatory environment and assess the impact on the business.
Manage legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential liabilities.
Handle legal disputes and litigation related to property matters, including representation in court where necessary.
Maintain accurate records of all legal documents and ensure proper filing and tracking.
Support compliance with internal governance, policies, and risk management frameworks.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B); a Master’s Degree or further legal qualifications are an advantage.
Admitted to the bar and in good standing with the relevant legal authority.
3+ years of experience in a similar legal role, preferably within the real estate or property development sector.
Strong knowledge of property law, contract law, and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High ethical standards and attention to detail.
