ETP Operator

Key Requirements
HND/ B.Sc. in Sciences or Chemical Engineering
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in ETP operations
Ability to understand written and oral instructions
Knowledge of PLC/DCS system operations
Familiarity with Pollution Control Board norms
Understanding of safety and hygiene practices
Team coordination and training capability
Key Responsibilities
Supervise all aspects of the ETP and provide direction to lower-level plant operators
Ensure safe, efficient, and economical operation of the ETP, in compliance with pollution control regulations
Monitor raw materials (e.g., dosing chemicals), equipment readiness, utilities, PPE, and manpower availability based on production plans
Track ETP operational parameters and in-process quality of wastewater and chemical consumption during shifts
Operate and control ETP processes and parameters using PLC/DCS systems
Ensure adherence to SOPs and compliance with environmental and safety standards
Coordinate implementation of new processes and continuous improvement initiatives
Participate in preventive maintenance and safety-related activities
Provide on-the-job training to new and existing team members
Communicate operational issues and resolutions to immediate superiors
Collaborate with cross-functional departments for materials and process requirement.
