Job Description

The Head of Retail is responsible for leading and managing the overall retail operations of the organization. This role involves developing strategic plans to drive sales growth, improve customer experience, and ensure operational efficiency across all retail outlets. The Head of Retail will oversee multiple store locations, lead retail expansion initiatives, manage staff performance, and ensure each store aligns with the company’s goals and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive retail strategy aligned with the organization’s vision and business objectives.
• Lead the planning and execution of retail expansion, including new store openings and layout optimizations.
• Set and monitor sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) across all retail outlets.
• Analyze sales data and store performance to drive improvements and ensure goals are met.
• Recruit, train, and supervise regional/store managers while promoting a high-performance culture.
• Foster a strong customer service focus across all stores, ensuring consistent and high-quality customer experiences.
• Oversee inventory control, stock levels, loss prevention, and supply chain coordination to maximize operational efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to operational procedures, visual merchandising standards, and company policies.
• Manage retail budgets, financial forecasting, and reporting, with a focus on cost control and profitability.
• Stay informed about industry trends, customer behaviors, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions or technologies to enhance retail performance.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2 years of proven experience in retail leadership, preferably in a multi-store or regional capacity.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset.
• Proficiency in retail management systems, POS software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel as needed across retail locations.
Salary:
₦150,000.00 Monthly
