Machine Operator -Can Plant

Key Requirements
OND/HND in Mechanical/Electrical disciplines.

Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in can plant operations or similar FMCG environments.

Proven ability to manage time effectively to meet production targets.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Sound understanding of equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
Set up production equipment and supplies before executing job orders.

Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.

Perform regular inspection and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Maintain accurate documentation related to equipment operations and maintenance.

Identify equipment malfunctions or necessary repairs and act promptly.

Support junior operators in their tasks and responsibilities.

Clean and repair equipment as needed.

Work under the guidance of the Team Leader to complete tasks timely.

Recommend and implement process improvements for better efficiency and safety.

Contribute to waste management initiatives.

Report unsafe operations to the Team Leader immediately.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Follow safety procedures and all company policies.

Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Shift Supervisor, Team Leader, or Shift Manager.
