Job Description

Department: Network Operations / Technology
Reports To: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and technically strong Fixed Wireline Technical Head to lead the design, deployment, and operations of our Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) and Fiber to the Home (FTTH) networks. This leadership role requires a hands-on professional with deep expertise in wireless technologies, IP networking, and customer-focused service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Strategy & Planning
- Design and scale Fixed Wireless and FTTH networks for optimal performance.
- Deploy wireless broadband using Cambium ePMP and Mimosa radios.
- Support hybrid connectivity models for dense urban broadband coverage.
FTTH Deployment & Operations
- Manage the full lifecycle of FTTH infrastructure (OLT, ONU, rollout, and maintenance).
- Ensure adherence to GPON/XPON standards.
- IP Network & Gateway Management
- Oversee L2/L3 network architecture and backbone integration.
- Configure and secure BNG, CGNAT, peering, and upstream gateways.
Monitoring & NMS Operations
- Implement and maintain PRTG, LibreNMS, and other monitoring systems.
- Manage NMS for Cambium, Mimosa, and FTTH devices.
Operational Excellence
- Guarantee uptime and SLA targets for access and distribution networks.
- Lead incident management, fault escalation, and resolution workflows.
Financial Planning
- Manage CapEx and OpEx for network projects.
- Drive cost optimization through strategic vendor and resource management.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
-Act as the technical escalation point for enterprise and residential clients.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery.
Team Leadership
- Lead technical teams across planning, operations, and field engineering.
- Promote continuous improvement and a high-performance culture.
Vendor & Regulatory Compliance
- Coordinate with vendors for equipment sourcing and performance.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with telecom laws and licensing.
Qualifications:
- BSc/MSc in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field.
- 8–15 years of experience in Fixed Wireline, FTTH, and Wireless Broadband.
- Proficiency in IP networking (routing, switching, gateway management).
- Hands-on experience with Cambium, Mimosa, and UBR technologies.
- Strong familiarity with PRTG, LibreNMS, and NMS systems.
- Knowledge of BNG, CGNAT, and service provider infrastructure.
- CCNA or equivalent certification preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- GPON/XPON expertise and FTTH provisioning tools.
- OSS/BSS integration experience.
- Certifications: Cambium Certified, CWNP, FTTH-related.
