Job Description

We are hiring a Firmware Engineer to lead development of the embedded software powering Quantum Wallet, our flagship offline payment and identity device. This role is central to enabling secure, low-power NFC-based transactions, offline operation, and modular functionality.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain C/C++ firmware for ESP32 or equivalent microcontrollers

Implement NFC peer-to-peer logic for device-to-device transactions

Manage local transaction storage and queued sync system

Handle real-time screen UI interactions with OLED/TFT displays

Interface with secure element chip or built-in encryption modules

Collaborate with hardware and backend engineers to support OTA sync and hardware integration

Conduct rigorous field and lab testing for reliability in offline scenarios

Requirements:

Proficiency in embedded C/C++ (FreeRTOS preferred)

Hands-on experience with NFC modules (PN532, ST25R3916)

Familiarity with low-level device debugging and power optimization

Understanding of flash storage, token generation, and interrupt handling

Bonus: Experience working with secure bootloaders, biometric modules, or hardware wallets
