Security Engineer Embedded and Protocol Layer

We are seeking a Security Engineer to architect and implement cryptographic protocols that secure Quantum Wallet’s offline and device-to-device operations. This role ensures our firmware, NFC communications, and token systems are resistant to fraud, tampering, and unauthorized replication.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement encrypted token protocols for offline NFC transfers

Integrate public key cryptography (e.g., ECC) into firmware-level transactions

Securely manage keys and device IDs at the hardware level

Prevent replay attacks, double-spends, and identity spoofing

Support integration of secure elements or TPM modules

Work with firmware and backend teams to ensure end-to-end trust

Requirements:

Strong background in embedded cryptography and information security

Experience with AES, ECC, SHA, or HMAC in low-power devices

Ability to audit and patch security flaws in firmware and protocol design

Familiarity with secure boot, tamper response, and firmware signing

Bonus: Experience in blockchain, hardware wallets, or secure communication standards
