Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION

* Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records.
* Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
* Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts.
* Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and filing requirements.
* Process payroll and related deductions.
* Prepare tax returns and other required financial documentation.
* Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify discrepancies or issues.
* Assist with internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations.
* Develop and maintain financial procedures and controls.
* Collaborate with other departments for accurate financial planning and reporting.
* Assist in financial analysis and the preparation of financial reports for management.

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar financial role.
* Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero).
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
* Familiarity with financial regulations and tax laws.
* Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
