Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, help us keep our books clean and make sense of our numbers, support budgeting and reporting processes. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and contribute to the financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, ledger entries, and payroll processing.
• Conduct monthly and annual financial closings. Prepare and deliver timely financial reports to hospital leadership and relevant stakeholders.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial discrepancies to ensure data integrity and up-to-date financial records including patient accounts and third-party reimbursements.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of monthly tax returns and compliance with all statutory and regulatory obligations.
• Develop, maintain, and update financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative departments to align financial operations with hospital goals and patient care priorities.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an accountant, preferably in a healthcare or hospital environment.
• Proven track record in accounting or a similar financial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
