Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Slitting Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in slitting operations, particularly in a high-speed manufacturing or converting environment. This role requires strong technical skills, a focus on safety and quality, and the ability to meet production targets consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and monitor slitting machines to cut large rolls of material into specified widths and lengths according to production orders.
• Set up slitting equipment including blades, tension controls, and material feed systems.
• Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and cleaning on slitting machines.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating slitting or converting equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform equipment adjustments and basic troubleshooting.
• Understanding of slitting specifications, tolerances, and material handling.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
