Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Pastry Chef to elevate our dessert offerings and bring imaginative ideas to life in the kitchen. This individual will play a key role in shaping the pastry menu, experimenting with flavor profiles, and ensuring the consistent quality of baked items and sweets served to customers. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare a wide range of pastries, cakes, desserts, and baked goods from scratch.
Innovate and design new dessert items that align with the restaurant’s brand and seasonal ingredients.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to create cohesive menu items.
Maintain accurate inventory and ensure timely procurement of fresh ingredients.
Implement best practices for food preparation, cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.
Train junior staff or kitchen assistants on pastry techniques and procedures.
Monitor the consistency, quality, and presentation of all pastry items.
Stay up to date with trends in the pastry and dessert world and bring new ideas to the table.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a pastry chef or head baker role.
Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts, Baking, or a related field is an advantage.
Exceptional knowledge of baking techniques, dessert presentation, and food safety standards.
Creativity and passion for crafting unique and visually appealing desserts.
Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Leadership skills and ability to inspire and train team members.
